MEET THE SECRETARIAT !
.jpeg)
MUN has been more than just an extracurricular for me–it has shaped the way I think, speak, and lead.
It changed the trajectory of my life, pushing me to embrace leadership, challenge perspectives, and find my voice in spaces I never thought I’d belong.
I’ve always found joy in dancing my heart out, singing my lungs out (even if I sound terrible), and using sketches and doodles to express myself. Time spent with friends, family, and the people around me reminds me to be grateful. But beyond these passions, one thing that has truly shaped me is MUN.
After COVID and lockdown, navigating various challenges, participating in the Shiv Nadar School MUN helped me rediscover the leader within myself. It empowered me to voice my opinions and channel my skills into something as impactful as discussing real-world issues. Who I am today is largely shaped by the lessons these conferences and leadership roles have given me.
As Secretary-General this year, my goal is to provide you with a platform that makes you feel empowered– not just to be confident in your own skin, but also to take ownership of your unique perspectives. This conference won’t just leave you with lessons on diplomacy and debate; it will foster lifelong skills like people management and effective communication. More than just understanding geopolitical issues, it will show you how to use your voice to make a difference, both in your life and in the lives of others. (and that’s a promise I stand by)
My secretariat and I look forward to welcoming you to an unforgettable conference–one that challenges, inspires, and empowers you.
See you at SNSNMUN 2025!
SECRETARY GENERAL
Reet Sehra
Secretary General

Lakshmi Rao Cairae
Director General
Every skill I value in myself today–whether it’s being solution-oriented, thinking critically, leading with confidence or networking–I can trace back to my experiences in MUNs. I owe a huge part of who I am to MUNs. After 6 years and 24 conferences, one thing I know for sure is that these experiences shape you in ways nothing else can.
Other than debating, you’ll find me preparing to become a lawyer (watching Suits), learning different dance forms, listening to music, or working out (occasionally). I’ve always been a social person, but MUNs took that to another level. Networking at conferences taught me how to talk to anyone about anything. I can proudly say I met some of my best friends through conferences.
My natural instinct in any situation is to question. I have always believed in the power of questioning and reasoning. We live in an era where information is controlled, narratives are shaped, and biases influence what we see. The responsibility to question, to analyse, to reason has never been more important. The world needs fresh minds - minds that are free of hatred, that can see through smokescreens, and that strive for the truth. We must truly understand the world we are set to inherit, rather than blindly accepting what we are told.
At SNSNMUN 25, I encourage you to do exactly that. Think twice before forming an opinion, analyze, and bring fresh perspectives to the table. Engage with purpose, challenge ideas with reason, and embrace the responsibility that comes with awareness.
Shiv Nadar School strongly believes in student agency. This conference and the impact it creates is genuinely in our hands. So let’s make these conversations matter!
DIRECTOR GENERAL

Diplomacy, debate, and the thrill of high-stakes negotiations. MUN is more than just a conference; it’s an arena where ideas collide, strategies unfold, and global perspectives take shape. As someone deeply passionate about international relations and economics, I’ve always been fascinated by the complexities of global security, financial systems, and the ever-evolving nature of geopolitics. The ability to step into a delegate’s shoes, navigate diplomatic challenges, and craft solutions that shape international discourse is what makes MUN so electrifying.
In a world where influence is the ultimate currency, MUN is where you learn to earn it. Every speech, every negotiation, and every resolution is a step toward mastering the art of power and persuasion.
Beyond the conference halls, you’ll probably find me watching and playing American football, cricket, or any sport that fuels my competitive spirit. I thrive on challenges, and to me, every MUN is an opportunity to think faster, argue sharper, and build connections that go beyond borders.
As Director of Delegate Affairs, my goal is simple: to make this MUN an unforgettable experience for every delegate. Whether it’s your first or tenth conference, I want you to leave with sharpened skills, new perspectives, and, most importantly, the drive to come back for more. MUN isn’t just a simulation; it’s a proving ground for the next generation of leaders. Now this is your stage, let's make history.
DIRECTOR DELEGATE AFFAIRS
Vedant Gupta
Director - Delegate Affairs

Shriyanka Srivastava
Director - Communications
I'll be your Director of Communications for SNSMUN25, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I thrive in spaces where I can engage in meaningful discussions and be treated as an equal. I love debating, organizing, and bringing ideas to life - whether it’s through MUNs, social initiatives, crafts or creative projects.
MUNs hold a special place in my heart, not just because of the diplomacy and debate, but because of the experience itself - the adrenaline of a great speech, the behind-the-scenes organizing that makes everything run smoothly, and the connections you build with people who challenge and inspire you
Beyond MUNs, I’m also passionate about writing, arts, initiatives that create tangible change and most of all, READING!!
I love murder mysteries, especially the thrilling, unpredictable kind like A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. I also enjoy planning and management, whether it’s for an MUN, a podcast , or an event for children. However, one thing I dislike is being in a space where voices aren’t heard or valued. I believe true impact comes from collaboration and open dialogue.
At the end of the day, I’m still figuring things out, but I know that I want to create, lead, and contribute in ways that matter. Whether it’s through debate, advocacy, or storytelling, I’m here to make an impact, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
DIRECTOR COMMUNICATIONS

Shashwat Mukherjee
Director - Operations
As the Logistics Head of SNSMUN 25, my role is to ensure seamless operations, creating an environment where debate and diplomacy can thrive. Logistics is the backbone of any successful conference, and my team and I are committed to making sure every delegate, chair, and organizer has everything they need—from venue management to technical support and on-time deliveries.
Beyond the debates and resolutions, MUNs are about building connections and fostering a sense of global citizenship. This conference is an opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, exchange ideas, and challenge perspectives. The friendships and networks formed here often extend far beyond the committee rooms, shaping future leaders and diplomats. SNSMUN 25 is not just an event—it is a platform for collaboration, learning, and personal growth.
I expect this conference to be an enriching experience, where passionate individuals engage in meaningful discussions and develop crucial skills like negotiation, public speaking, and leadership.
As the logistics team, we will remain adaptable and proactive, solving challenges as they arise. Our goal is to make sure that while the delegates focus on debating global issues, they never have to worry about the operational aspects of the conference. I look forward to a productive and well-organized event!
DIRECTOR OPERATIONS

Mihika Garg
Director - International Press Corps
It is an honor to be given the chance to be Director IPC this year in the SNSNMUN ‘25. The world’s dynamics are ever-shifting, and this year, of all years, the way the media presents, reports, advocates, and influences the socio-political atmosphere is of growing imminence.
Media’s understates yet omnipresence in our lives is paralleled in this body of the United Nations, and the opportunity to give voice to those who may not be as outspoken as other delegates is a responsibility I hold with great pride and exhilaration.
This conference pushes the boundaries of what the SNSNMUN has done and is a precious realization of what we, as young delegates, had dreamed an inter-school conference could offer and represent.
Working with this team has been a joy and only further brimmed me with confidence and anticipation towards what you, our delegates, will bring to this conference.
As someone whose life has been dictated and defined by her time as a debater, MUNer, writer, and creative, this is a dream come true. I hope this conference enriches you with opinions you haven’t encountered, considered, acknowledged, and (perhaps most importantly) voiced yourself.
Welcome to SNSNMUN!
